New Album?

Will there be a new Rushingwind & Mucklow album in 2017? Perhaps! Steven and Michael have been talking about reuniting to record a fifth album. Both are busy guys in their respective lives but maybe their schedules will allow enough time to get a new recording accomplished.

R&M Win 2015 Silver Arrow Awards!

Donald Blackfox presented both of us with 2015 Silver Arrow Awards for Outstanding Contributions to the Native American Music Industry. It truly is special when some one says “Thank you” for what you as musicians and composers bring to the music community. And our “thank you” in return to the Native American music community for your friendship and fellowship.

‘Strong Horse’ on 2015 GRAMMY Nomination Ballot

grammy-logo

Our album ‘Strong Horse’ is on the ballot for nomination consideration in the Best Regional Roots category of the 57th GRAMMY Awards. This is cool!

The way it works at the GRAMMYs is your song/album first gets screened from the thousands of submissions to determine if it should be added to the ballot from which the category nominations will be determined.

‘Strong Horse’ has made it onto the nomination ballot, and we couldn’t be happier!

UPDATE: We did not get the nomination nod…this time. But we’re not disappointed. It’s quite an honor to have our music considered by the GRAMMYs. And to know, as indie artists, that we made a recording worthy of their consideration is a nice “nod” in our direction.
